Lunes 21. Arrancamos la mañana con nuestro SweetMonday. Hoy es especial, y no solo porque sea el último, sino porque las breakers preparan un showroom para enseñarnos sus productos: joyería, kimonos, todo tipo de vestidos…¡increíble! También nos visita de nuevo Paloma Tarazona, directora de Fevecta, para hablarnos de cooperativas europeas para mujeres (temazo). Terminamos la sesión grupal y Veronika organiza un taller práctico al que ha llamado ‘Entender las fibras = Entender los tejidos’, dirigido a las demás breakers que se dedican a la moda sostenible: 4 horas intensas que se les han pasado volando ¡gracias Purply Kimono por la masterclass!
Martes 22. Hoy las breakers van a la Universidad de Alicante donde les recibe Mar Cervera, Directora de Desarrollo del Parque Científico PCA, contactazo y posibles sinergias a la vista. Por la tarde, sesión grupal con Impact Hub Madrid, en la que seguimos con la clase del pasado jueves sobre crowdfunding con Francesca Passari.
Miércoles 23. Visita VIP de la Directora General de Emprendimiento y Cooperativismo de la Generalitat Valenciana, Teresa García, junto a Margarita Albors Presidenta de SocialNest y Marta Gironés de la Asociación StartUp Valencia para conocer al grupo de mujeres de The Break Vinalopó. Compartir ideas, talento, estudiar colaboraciones, desayunar y hablar mucho… bonita manera de comenzar la mañana. A las 13:00h, recepción oficial del Ayuntamiento de Villena a The Break Vinalopó. Turismo, Museo, comida en el nuevo restaurante de las fundadoras de MQR (Más que Radio, ojo una cooperativa de mujeres valientes) y visita a dos empresas que lo están sabiendo hacer muy bien en el territorio: ‘Vestuarios Especiales Gil Palao’ y ‘Textiles Athenea’.
Jueves 24. Hoy visita especial, de esas que llegan hondo. Eva y Laura de EOI a Genion Lab. Comemos juntas y las breakers se van volando a casa, allí tienen una dinámica junto a Eva Curto que se alarga toda la tarde. Empoderar, empatizar, reconocer el talento, hacer comunidad, inspirar… nos quedamos con mucho de lo sucedido esa tarde.
Viernes 25. Último día en Genion Lab, hay que aprovechar cada minuto. El inicio: pinta más que bien. La actriz Natalia Bravo viene a dar una clase de expresión corporal para la oratoria, esta es siempre una de las sesiones favoritas de las emprendedoras. Técnica, risas y mucho que llevarnos para las próximas puestas en escena. Para la despedida: nuestro refugio gastronómico favorito en la montaña. En La Finca La Esperanza de Petrer: arroces impresionantes, productos locales y del terroir, cata de aceites de la cooperativa y mucho bailoteo. Fin de fiesta perfecto.
Monday 21. We start the morning with our SweetMonday. Today is special, and not only because it is the last, but because the breakers prepare a showroom to show us their products: jewelry, kimonos, all kinds of dresses … incredible! Paloma Tarazona, director of Fevecta, also visits us again to talk about European cooperatives for women (really good topic). We finish the group session and Veronika organizes a practical workshop called ‘Understanding fibers = Understanding fabrics’, aimed at other breakers who are dedicated to sustainable fashion: 4 intense hours that have flown by, thanks Purply Kimono for the masterclass!
Tuesday 22. Today the breakers go to the University of Alicante where they are received by Mar Cervera, Director of Development of the PCA Science Park, contact and possible synergies in sight. In the afternoon, group session with Impact Hub Madrid, in which we continue with last Thursday’s class on crowdfunding with Francesca Passari
Wednesday 23. VIP visit of the General Director of Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism of the Generalitat Valenciana, Teresa García, together with Margarita Albors President of SocialNest and Marta Gironés of the StartUp Valencia Association to meet the group of women of The Break Vinalopó. Share ideas, talent, study collaborations, have breakfast and talk a lot… Nice way to start the morning. At 1:00 p.m, official reception of the City Council of Villena to The Break Vinalopó. Tourism, Museum, lunch in the new restaurant of the founders of MQR (More than Radio, eye a cooperative of brave women) and visit to two companies that are knowing how to do it very well in the territory: ‘Gil Palao Special Costumes’ and ‘Textiles Athenea’
Thursday 24. Today a special visit, of those that arrive deeply. Eva and Laura from EOI come to Genion Lab. We eat together and the breakers fly home, there they have a dynamic with Eva Curto that lasts all afternoon. Empower, empathize, recognize talent, make community, inspire… We were left with much of what happened that afternoon.
Friday 25. Last day at Genion Lab, you have to take advantage of every minute. The beginning: it looks more than good. The actress Natalia Bravo comes to give a body expression class for oratory, this is always one of the favorite sessions of entrepreneurs. Technique, laughter and a lot to take for the next staging. For the farewell: our favorite gastronomic refuge in the mountains. At La Finca La Esperanza de Petrer: impressive rice, local and terroir products, tasting of oils from the cooperative and a lot of dancing. Perfect end of party.
